Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Expansion Phase II

Harris partnered with JW McClenahan and DPR Construction to design, coordinate and install complete HVAC systems for the new Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH). Utilizing Lean Construction techniques and BIM/VDC technology, Harris fabricated and installed over 1.7 million pounds of ductwork, 19 air handlers and related HVAC equipment serving this 521,000-square foot state-of-the-art LEED Gold medical facility in the heart of the Silicon Valley.

Located on the Stanford University campus, the LPCH doubles in size with the expansion adding 104 patient rooms and new surgical, diagnostic and treatment rooms. Construction began in October 2013 and was completed in 2017.
