University Enterprise Laboratories

Harris provided a full-range of preconstruction and construction services for University Enterprise Laboratories Inc (UEL) that included the design and installation of a comprehensive building automation system and lab control system for the organization’s renovated building.

After assessing the needs of the many bio-science companies that utilize the office and lab space at this facility, Harris installed HVAC and laboratory control systems that streamlined and optimized the management of energy consumption.

UEL was created as a private/public partnership by the University of Minnesota, the City of St. Paul and several corporate partners led by Xcel Energy and 3M.
