UNLV Science and Engineering Building

The Science and Engineering Building (SEB) is a state-of-the-art facility located on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV). When the building was first designed, UNLV wanted a research facility that was not only innovative, but energy efficient and they turned to Harris to make that a reality. The systems that Harris installed use 32 percent less energy and 42 percent less water than laboratory buildings of the same size. The SEB project was awarded a LEED Silver rating, the Best Green Practices Award and numerous other awards based on its energy efficiency. Harris takes great pride in being a leading innovator in the southwest in designing and installing systems that are not only cost-effective but energy efficient as well.
